Once your reservation is made we have a no refund policy for any reason whatsoever as
our season is so short and we could have rented your site to someone else and we still need to staff and prepare
as if you were coming. Sorry for this inconvenience. 2010 season opens from 10:00am Saturday
May 22nd (the weekend before Memorial Day weekend) - Monday October 11th, 2010, 5pm (Columbus Day),
freezing weather permitted. Due to water pipes possibly freezing.

All Medcalf Acres RV sites have full hookups and: -water
is included -(checked regularly per NYS Health Department regulations for safety) -electric
is included (no meter) newer 30 amp service at every site -septic is included -picnic table is included - newer tables, always at Medcalf Acres -fire
ring is included for a real fire. Some NY campgrounds only allow you to have a gas/propane fire.
You can bring in your own firewood or call Don Bessey 518-532-9263 for reasonable prices and free delivery. Quiet time
is 10pm but you can still stay up and have fun and even keep your fire going as long as you're quiet! No hooting or
hollering as to protect the interest of all Medcalf Acres campers. -Time
Warner Cable TV -(70+/- channels) is included, no extra charge! -High
speed internet access (WIFI, throughout the campground) at each and every
site, is included, no extra charge like at most other campgrounds! -Free
hot showers - in the fresh, clean restrooms located
behind the Adirondack store. No quarters needed! -Free winter storage -
You don't have to move your RV off your site for the winter like at some other campgrounds! Alot of other campgrounds
charge you $300-$500 extra for winter storage. You can leave your grill and other items on your site all winter at no
extra charge! This is for all campground seasonals only. -Most campgrounds
have a maximum of 2 persons that they charge you for when you sign up as a seasonal. Any more family members and you
get charged alot of money to have them added on to camp with you. When you sign up with us, all of your
immediate family members are included in your one time seasonal price. To All Seasonal Campers: It
was with my intentions to be fair with everyone by allowing friends and family to visit Medcalf Acres with no charges.
Some have taken my kindness and stretched the rules. It is because of this that I have had to clarify
the rules. Please follow the following rules from this date forward. It is not our job
as management to babysit and chase people for any overnight fees due. Anyone not paying extra fees at the
time of entrance/check-in, into the campground, will be asked to leave and possibly not come back. Please
be fair to me and I will reciprocate back to you. -Free guests most times for
all seasonal campers only. This is not intended for and does not include transients/overnighters. You can bring your friends and family to visit Medcalf for free at certain times, no extra
charges. Anyone over 18 years old wanting a tent on your site and staying over-night would have to pay the
tent site fee of $25.00 and/or get another site and pay the $25.00 fee, up to 4 adults. If over 18 and they sleep in
your RV when you are there then they are free. No more than 6 people on a site at a time unless approved by Karl as
waste disposal prohibits too many people. No more than two consecutive nights free for overnight guests
over 18 in a three week period when you are in the campground. 3rd night on, is at $8.00 per night. Any subletting, meaning if your guests are over 21 and staying overnight or visiting
during the day and you are not there then there is an $8.00 per day/night charge per person, whether it is for 1/2 hour or
24 hours. Must be approved in advance by calling Karl first and getting permission. Must be 21 years
of age or older. No exceptions! All subletting must be approved! All children 17 and younger can have an overnight tent on the site if it fits. Kids
17 years and younger always camp for free! We try not to nickel and dime you to death. A lot of campgrounds
will charge you extra for your children, friends, or family. Not always at Medcalf Acres Riverfront Campground!
When you sign up as a new seasonal immediate family
members and/or pets only are included. We welcome everyone! Immediate family means parents and immediate
children only. -Free pets, anytime. Some campgrounds charge extra for your pet.
Not at Medcalf Acres! Friendly and quiet pets welcome of course. Must be on a leash at all times and
cleaned up after.
- Also, no
dog runs or clothes lines of any kind allowed. They will be taken down by management. No more
warnings! This is a liability issue for the Campground and I can’t allow them to be up.
Also, no more than one picnic table per site
and/or 1 fire ring/ fireplace per site without my approval. Firewood can no longer be stacked more than 6 feet high
between trees or free standing. Thanks

- 24/7 We have some of the best Lake Trout and Brown's that you'll ever catch! Salmon
too! Get your valid Fishing license at any Walmart's and you'll have the time of your life. A small hook and a
half inch of trout worm only, you don't need anything expensive and you are on your way to eat some of the best fish
in the Adirondack's! Some campgrounds you can't eat what you catch. You have to throw them back in! Not
here! Wait 'til you taste them! Delicious! In the spring the Lake Trout come up
the river spawning and then we also have a fish hatchery up the river putting in thousands of new fish every year! Beautiful
23-25 inchers are common. Not happy with that, we have loads of Lakes, Ponds and other rivers nearby to take a chance
at catching the big one! On Saturday, July 17th, 2010 there will be a Fishing Derby
at the campground. There will be a first place prize of $100 for the largest trout (in length) caught between
the hours of 6am - 5pm. Fish must be caught at the rivers edge of Medcalf only! Must be registered to participate!
Cheaters will be thrown back in the river, not the fish.  Second place prize of $50 for the fish that weighs the most. After the contest there will be a fish cook-out
at the Pavillion! BYOB On Saturday, July 24th, 2010 there will be a Chili Cooking
Contest at the campground. Bring your favorite crock pot of Chili and some hard rolls with butter
of course. We will supply the dixie cups and everyone participating can test sample a little bit from everyone.
Blue Ribbon 1st place prize gets $100, 2nd place prize $50, and third place prize wins $25. BYOB Everyone gets to be
a judge! On Saturday, July 31st, 2010 there will be a lazy river tubing contest for
all Seasonals in the campground. Starts at 1pm! Everyone will start out at the bridge by Rt.9 and River
Road. Everyone will start out together. Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and 20th place. Good Luck! -Free - Campground Owner's Holiday Celebration's. Three different Holiday
Celebrations including an awesome band and professional entertainment for the kid's(
Face Painting or Magic Shows or Spin-Art, Sand-Art or Balloon Twisting, etc. ) each and
every Celebration! We provide hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, sausage/peppers/onions, soft drinks, ice and a special surprise main
course for everyone in the campground that Holiday weekend. No charge! Plus everyone
usually brings a dish to make it even more spectacular! And even a bonfire at the Pavillion! -Most other weekends there will be professional entertainment on Saturday nights at 8pm for the kids,
then a Movie! -Saratoga Race Track Day "The Whitney" -
on Saturday, August 7th, 2010 all seasonals and immediate family members are invited to a funfilled
day at the Track! Included: free parking and free admission into the track, a $10 cash
voucher for betting and a free all you can eat lunch buffet with soft drinks. For a nominal fee of $20 per person you
will have a great time! For those that come early enough to help set up, breakfast will also be included! Want
your friends and other family members to go with you, no problem, just $20.00 gets them in also and it includes everything
above! Must be signed up and paid in full by July 24th, 2010. BYOB -Great Escape/Splash
Water Kingdom Day! - On Saturday, August 14th, 2010 all seasonals and immediate
family members are invited to a funfilled day at the Great Escape/ Splash Water Kingdom. For a nominal fee of $20 per
person you will have the time of your life! Included: a free parking pass, a free $42.00
Admission ticket, a free all you can eat lunch buffet at 12 noon, including soft drinks, and then
after you have been playing for a while, you then can sit down for a free all you can eat dinner buffet at 5pm,
including soft drinks. If you still have energy left then continue to ride all of the great rides throughout
the park, until closing. Want your friends and other family members to go with you, no problem, just $45.00 gets them
in and it includes everything above! Must be signed up and paid in full by August 12th, 2010. Park open from
10am-9pm. -Free Playground, Volleyball, Horseshoes, Basketball and more... -Free Professional Entertainment for the kid's ( Face Painting, Characatures,
Balloon Twisting, etc. ) and Bingo every weekend from Memorial Day
weekend through Labor Day weekend! Hayrides and other organized

Swimming, Fishing, Kayaking, Canoeing, Biking, Tubing and Hiking nearby are also free with your stay at Medcalf Acres with
your own equipment of course. We have almost a half mile of sandy bottom riverfront to use at your disposal. -Boats, Atv's, Jet Ski's - free placement on your site if it fits (no
extra charge like at alot of other campgrounds). With so many public launches nearby, one is less than
4 miles away, you might want to take advantage of this! Check out the fishing on the nearby lakes with your bass boat! -Golf Carts - Want to bring your own golf cart, not a problem! We ask you to get
insurance through our insurance vendor at a reasonable rate and no one under 16 can drive it. All operators have to
have a valid drivers license on record, no exceptions. Do not drink and drive as it is considered a DWI just like in
a vehicle. -Decks, Carports and Screened-in
Porches are okay on your site. No extra charge to have them! Just check with
the owner before you build, for approval. -Vehicles - if it fits on your
site, no extra charge! If it won't fit on your campsite, ask us and we will help accomodate
you and find you parking during your stay! -Transfer Fee - want to move your
RV from your present campsite to another new open site No fee! Some campgrounds
charge you extra for moving your RV to another site. Not here! -Access

at night we try to ask everyone in the campground if they need anything before we close. We call this All Inclusive - RV Camping. When
you add up all of the hidden fees other campgrounds charge, you will find out

The Adirondack cabin
rentals sleeps 5 people comfortably and have one set of bunk beds, a single bed, a table and chairs, full
size refrigerator, small gas grill, picnic table, and fire ring. Tent sites have a picnic table
and fire ring.
